Balsa Wood is used in the core of the Astral 84 for the incredible strength to weight ration. Nordica's Ti Hex Bridge adds extra power, stability and edge hold without adding very much extra weight to the ski. The Astral 84 has a Blunt Nose Tip Shape that absorbs vibrations, gives you effortless floatation and effortless turn initiation for an overall easier to ride feeling in any condition. A Squared Off Tail Shape adds an extra push to help you accelerate out of your turns.
