The Faction Studio Grom FR Skis are built for the kid who's already bored with beginner terrain and ready to explore the whole mountain. At 93mm underfoot with a twin tip shape and generous rocker, it handles powder stashes, side hits, and groomer laps with equal enthusiasm, and the lightweight poplar core keeps it easy to maneuver without sacrificing pop and stability. Same construction standard as the adult Studio Series, scaled down for pint-sized chargers.

Rocker Type - Rocker-Camber-Rocker: 16% Tip Rocker, 2.5mm Camber, 15% Tail Rocker
Flex - Flex Rating: 6 (1 = Soft, 10 = Stiff)
Shape - Directional Twin: A considerably skinnier tail width than in the tip provides ultimate downhill performance for attacking the mountain. A twin tip in the tail encourages playfulness and freestyle attitude, meaning you can ride switch with ease.
Core - Lightweight Poplar Core: Poplar is a light-colored, medium-weight, durable softwood that flexes and pops nicely as well as having a whole load of vibration absorption capabilities. Used as the only wood in this core, it allows the ski to pop, butter and stomp like an all-mountain freestyle ski and also have enough torsional stability to grip impressively on the downhill.
Laminates - Anti-Chip Micro Cap: Micro-cap construction is a hybrid of a premium, sandwich sidewall construction fused with a lightweight, durable cap construction. With microcap, the sandwich construction provides awesome edge hold and torsional stability while the ski’s topsheet wraps around and meets the sidewall, protecting the fragile joint that can be prone to chipping.
Sidewalls - Full Strength Sidewall: A construction that places strips of protective material along the sides of each core, between the edge and the topsheet.
Edges - XL 2.2mm Edges: Fractions of a millimeter might not sound like much, but when it comes to edges, it adds up. Compared to Faction's normal 2mm edge, the 2.2 width adds considerable durability for hard hits and rails.
Core/Laminates - Wood
Terrain - Park & Pipe, All-Mountain
Skis - No Bindings
Ability Level - Intermediate-Advanced
Rocker Type - Rocker/Camber/Rocker
Turning Radius - Short
Tail Type - Full Twin Tip
