Rome Katana AW FASE Snowboard Bindings 2027

The gold standard of Fast Entry bindings, built for all riders, any board and every mountain.

The Katana AW FASE® bindings are designed to help riders get the very best out every day on the mountain. Thanks to the effortless simplicity of the FASE® Fast Entry System, riders get more laps without sacrificing connected comfort thanks to our industry-leading strap package. The Katana AsymWrap Platform brings equal parts surfy all-mountain fun and locked-in board feel to every run. With customization features like the FASE® PivotMount and an adjustable baseplate, these lightweight, all-terrain enhancers truly make every board ride better.

*Please note* During production for the 2627 run of bindings, we had the opportunity to update these highbacks to a solid-state design. This has always been the plan as we continue to develop the future of the Katana binding family, but this means some of these bindings will feature a new solid state highback design. Both are fully intentional, fully engineered and fully ready to ride.

• AsymWrap  -  Our game changer of a chassis that revolutionized the idea of connected-comfort. The AsymWrap heelhoop features three connection points to the base allowing for a surfy ride, plenty of board feel, without sacrificing tweak or edge-to-edge response.
• Pivotmount  -  A Rome exclusive innovation, PivotMounts allow you to adjust the position of the ankle strap on your boot with 4 different locations per side of the strap. The higher the strap sits on your boot, the more locked-in and powerful the feel, the lower the strap sits on the boot, the more playful and surfier ride.
• OmniFlex Ankle Strap  -  The next generation of AuxTech® powered connected comfort comes in the form of our most responsive ankle straps. A solid state overmolded design engages with a TPU spine to perfectly blend responsive torsional flex and edge to edge power.
• ProGrip Toe Strap  -  Powered by AuxTech®, ProGrip Toe Straps provide next level, locked-in hold and grip.
• Never Miss A Day  -  We never want you to miss a day of riding. If you ride hard, there's always a chance something could wear out or break. But don't worry - we've got you covered. Bindings with the "Never Miss a Day" feature come with a backup parts kit, including extra ladders, screws, and washers, so you can keep riding while sorting out replacements.
• G Highback  -  Highback Materials: 15% Glass 85% Nylon
• G Baseplate  -  15% Glass. A mellow and medium flexing feel for a smooth ride.
• Forged Aluminium  -  Forged Aluminum heelhoop for lightweight strength and durability.
• 2% Footbed Canting  -  2 Degree Dual-Density footbed
• AuxTech®  -  Hinged patterns for next level connected-comfort. A Rome first innovation, AuxTech® is a game changing pattern we use in our ankle and toe straps. Auxetic Patterns are geometric patterns that become thicker perpendicularly when stretched. Essentially a network of tiny hinges that expand evenly when pressure is applied. Best in the game surface area pressure distribution and connected comfort, that’s AuxTech®.
• Binding Mount Pattern  -  2x4, Channel, 4x4
• Ability Level  -  Intermediate-Advanced
